Join Living Art Organic Farm’s 4 week Volunteer program
Volunteer at Living Art Organic Farm, a small holding within the city, which does not only have its own organic farming program, but it has also shaped itself as a base camp for community development in many of the city’s township areas. Living Art Organic Farm offers a space where volunteers can get to practice and learn about organic farming whilst at the same time interact with the farm’s culturally diverse African staff allowing the opportunity to have insight into various cultures by sharing stories and skills.
Living Art Organic Farm continually hosts youth workshops, Non Government Organisations (NGO’s), volunteers, visitors and individuals who most often leaves inspired after their wholesome experience on the farm.
The strong and close relationship with various communities allows us to offer our volunteers a real South African experience where they will be working at ground level and be able to meet and interact with people who know what is happening in Cape Town culturally, musically and developmentally.
Our 4 week program includes
- On -Arrival orientation
- On-sight orientation
- Logistical orientation and support
- Assigned Task descriptions
- Mentorship support
