Living Art Farm provides an outdoor experience in its own way. It is a natural - small holding style, environment, modelled on permaculture principles. The small holding is situated on 1 and a half acres and demonstrates the possibilities of a organic farming in a relatively small space.
The farm is surrounded by mountains, which form an amphi theatre around the valley. Early mornings, evenings and nights are all special. Seasons come and go, and the environment takes on different forms. Eagles, porcupines, birds, snakes all visit at different times ( Not to worry about the snakes, they generally do their own thing ). Ducks, ponies, chickens also add to the Living Art Farm family.
Noordhoek Beach is a 5 - 10 minute drive, walking is also a possibility for those who are feeling energetic. The beach is beautiful for walks, sunsets, discovering a shipwreck, surfing, horse riding, kite flying, to name a few possibilities. If Noordhoek water is too cold, try nearby Fish Hoek Beach.
Hire a bicycle from Living Art Farm and discover Noordhoek Village, lots of great restaurants and shops at the local Farm Village, where locals and visitors gather. Visit the Organic Market every Saturday from 08h00 - 12h00.
Silvermine Nature reserve is 10 minutes drive, great for hikes, picnics and swimming. Chapmans peak drive is a famous tourist attraction with beautiful scenic drives, when open ( mind the falling rocks ! ). So ideally a great place to relax and enjoy.
